New little sweater I got for her : ) Nice and cozy!

Beau left this morning at 2 a.m. to go duck hunting with Brian. So I had Kensie all to myself. I am so excited to say I got 4 hours of solid sleep without her waking up!! She slept from 9:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m.-5 a.m. This is a huge improvement from waking up every 2 hours, yay!! And my body is healed enough for me to go running : ) I started out walking and slowly mixed in jogging and today I went 4 miles and feel wonderful! And it is freezing here, literally. The temperature has dropped dramatically and I think it's cold as it's ever been here in November..Chilly but very welcome, it finally feels like the holidays!

Shout out to Michigan

Hi guys

In my big girl pants, mommy had to roll them cause they're still a little big...

But don't I look cute???

Me and my sister Sadie

Just hanging out watching Regis and Kelly
Hello from Cali!!! Missing you guys : ( For those of you who don't know, Mom, Dad and Missy went to visit Abbey, Lizzy,  Jake and Grandma and uncle and aunts and cousins in Michigan for Thanksgiving. Since Kensie is still quite young we decided to stay home. So, I wanted to send some pictures of Miss Kensie; she has officially upgraded from her newborn diapers to the next size up and can fit in 0-3 month clothes, not just newborn clothes any more. Getting so big she is! Rain predicted for all day today, I think you guys have some cold weather over there as well. Miss you all and love you!

Facebook purchase

Project: Gazebo

Watching Mom and Dad figure this thing out

Almost done!

Success!
Yep, rochelle found us a gazebo on Facebook for $50! We've been looking for one for a while, just haven't pulled the trigger. And this was perfect, thank goodness we didn't buy one because this was the deal of the century! It's going to rain all weekend so we got it up just in time. It's the best place to watch Beau bbq and Kensie and I can sit by the fire pit : )

thanksgiving come early

Carving up the bird!

Studious Aubrey!

Rochelle, the queen of gravy making...it was so good

Daddy wuvs me
The Kindys are hosting Thanksgiving this year and Laurie asked Beau to prepare a turkey. He wanted to practice beforehand since he's never done a turkey before. He brined it all night and smoked it all day yesterday. We had the Mills over and had a yummy dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing and salad. It was incredible; for Beau's first go-around, his turkey was really moist and flavorful. Delish! And I snapped these pics of Kensie this morning in an outfit Beau picked out...Daddy has such good taste : ) Sorry pictures are all over the place, the blog was a pain in the butt today...

Attempting the crib...

Been up for 2 1/2 hours this morning...

Finally asleep...
Liking my new bed!
For the last few weeks, Beau and I have decided to keep Kensie in our room. But now that we're over the stage of "over-concerned new parents", we know she won't choke or stop breathing and that she'll be perfectly fine in her own bed ha ha So, we got a sound monitor yesterday and gave it a go last night. She loves her crib, partly because we have a chandelier in her room that we turn on dim and it throws light that seems to entrance her. She slept a few hours, so hopefully she'll get more accustomed the more we put her in there...She's growing a ton, really filling out as you can probably see! Let's just say, she likes to eat ha ha

New Park in Town!

Our beautiful new park!

Our park finally opened in our neighborhood! They had a fence up around it for the last several weeks and now it's down and open to the public! Lions Park it's called and there was a big party out there today with a few bounce houses and a fire truck for the kids to climb up on. Tons of families came out today and it was the most beautiful Saturday to walk around : ) Yesterday, I have never felt more exhausted. I literally could hardly function. But today I was much better so Mom came over and we took Kensie and Sadie for a long walk and then checked out the park afterward. It'll be so nice to have this park so close to us!
