A broken phone, Winco and tootsie rolls.

Winco, one of our grocery stores, is the place to be. It has these massive bins where you can find ANYTHING. Grains, nuts, beans, cereal, baking ingredients. This trail mix was already made up and so darn good! ZERO peanuts! And James dropped my phone in the toilet and I was forced to upgrade (bummer ;)) Better camera yay!

Tootsie Rolls at work, my all time favorite candy! May have too many...

And it's finally melon season; kids are loving it in our house :)

Best with a cup of coffee in the am or pre/post workout. I'll have one before my long run tomorrow!

Got their game faces on. Best papa ever :)

Kensie hoarding the BBQ chips.

Spring time flowers; I think kensie and papa have been working extra hard in the backyard.

It was 80 yesterday. Popsicles are a must :)

I went a little crazy with the online shopping but the kids are lovin' it!

Free entertainment!

Got a few things for myself: Wen shampoo for me and the kids, my business cards (yay!) and a conversation starter 👍

YAY! It works!

This may take the cake as my all time favorite picture. Dad, nothing like seeing a great smile from you, especially while holding your grandson on his first birthday!

Mom and Dad gifted James a playhouse for his bday. YAY! Downside: it says to give 7-10 hours to assemble...2 hours down, 6 to go!

I've been walking the dogs to a local church that has soccer fields. I throw bumpers to Tess and let the dogs run around and the kids and I play a little soccer :)

Love this smile!

Soccer super star in the making!

A successful run; both kids passed out. One blindfolded and the other with his blanket stuffed in his mouth. My kids are weird.

This amazing recipe we made Sunday morning. Healthy and Beau LOVED them, so you know they're legite :)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup uncooked farina (such as Cream of Wheat)
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla soy milk
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • large egg, lightly beaten
  • Cooking spray
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins, divided
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts, divided
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
Preparation
Lightly spoon the flours into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. Combine flours, farina, and next 4 ingredients (through salt) in a large bowl, stirring with a whisk. Combine milk, applesauce, and egg in a medium bowl, stirring until well blended. Add milk mixture to flour mixture, stirring until well combined. Let batter stand 5 minutes.
Heat a nonstick griddle or skillet over medium heat; coat pan with cooking spray. Pour about 1/4 cup batter per pancake onto pan; sprinkle each with 2 teaspoons raisins and 2 teaspoons walnuts. Cook 1 minute or until tops are covered with bubbles and edges look cooked. Carefully turn pancakes over, and cook 1 minute or until bottoms are lightly browned. Repeat procedure with remaining batter, raisins, and walnuts. Serve with syrup.

My little chef.

Squeezing in a workout at nap time! T25, 25 minutes, hard but in and out and I am DONE!

Lamb that Beau grilled up for us last week. To. Die. For.

And summer is around the corner and that means are garden will soon be in full bloom! Can't wait to try this recipe!

I ordered my business cards! Can't wait to help spread my fitness and health passion and help others get strong and fit!

We took a road trip to AZ this last weekend to see Brad and Ronda.

Had such a great time. Morning at the zoo, on the carousel.

We took a walk to the local park with the kids to get some energy out!
