Headed to San Diego!!!

Baby Mills and myself will be flying down to San Diego to see the Mills Clan for a few days and I am SOOOOOOOO excited!!! Since I didn't get to go to the teVelde San Diego trip last year and won't be going this year, perhaps it will help with my withdrawls from Pacific Beach...Catherine, Merideth and I went to a yummy dinner last night and we're gonna check out this huge indoor flea market this morning called the Hartville Flea Market. I'm predicting I'll come home with some goodies ; )

Baby Mills!!! Alive and kickin'! She looks great and very healthy. She's about 1 1/2 lbs. The technician told us that she looks like she'll be a smaller baby, not too big so we'll see how big she ends up being : )

Dad brings home goodies...

So Daddy Beau brought home bags of clothes for Baby Mills!!! And he did SOOOOO good and got the most adorable stuff. He said he got a little carried away and just couldn't stop buying because it was all so cute; this is a very bad sign ha ha I can't imagine how he's going to spoil her in the years to come...How great is my husband?! Pretty fantastic ; )

Happy Father's Day!!!

I want to wish both of my dad's and my husband a wonderful day today! I hope Beau is as good as a father as Brad is and as Dadda Babba has been to be me for the past 23 years : ) I love you all so much and appreciate all you've done for us kids for our entire lives. I'm about to learn how hard it is to be a parent ha ha ha

23 Weeks Preggers

One week shy of 6 months already!!! I can't believe it...And the bump is finally starting to arrive! She's movin' around like you wouldn't believe. I think she's doing somersaults and high kicks in there, practicing her future soccer moves : ) Still feeling fantastic! Keeping the exercise up and still eating pretty healthy (that is, however, according to me) Rainy here today, so baby blanket, here I come. I haven't worked on it much this week but today is the perfect day. Now I just have to find something good on tv....

A week flying by

Friday already!! The week is flying by here. I've been working 4 out of the 5 last days so I'm sure that has something to do with it. I went to Babies R' Us yesterday to look at some of the things I had registered online for and ended up changing everything ha ha You really need to go in and look at things before you register or buy. Then, of course, I had to bop into Marshall's and buy me some cute pregnancy things ; ) Gotta stay cool but look stylish! I laid out by the pool for about 3 hours this morning and feel fantastic; the belly and baby girl needed some sunshine! I'm about to take Miss Sadie for a walk and then go to sit tonight at 5:30. Tomorrow night, some of us gals are going to PF Chang's for dinner yay! Love that place...And church on Sunday and Beau's home early Monday morning. Update on Beau: He said that he's feeling a lot better and is going to start swinging and throwing soon. An answer to prayer! And Beau just informed me that he did a little damage at the local Baby Gap in Portland, Maine. And the spoiling begins from Daddy : )

Fantastic Father-Son Article

Check out the great article about Beau and Dad that a journalist wrote for the upcoming Father's Day. Very cool!!! I love you both so much and am a very proud wife and daughter! It's on the Houston Astros website under news. Title is "Mills cherishes having father as mentor"

Well, Beau pulled something in his side yesterday during BP. They aren't sure what it is or how long it's going to take to heal so they're going to give him a couple days off to see if it starts to feel better. If it does, yay! He really doesn't want to go on the DL, so pray for fast healing!
This morning we had a doctor's appointment; I can't believe it's been a month since the last time we've gone in! Dr. O'shea said everything looks perfect : ) We have another ultrasound in a week and a half that we're really excited about-seeing the baby is always amazing!
I'm making a hair appointment for next week and trying to take up golf at the local driving range cause the boys are going to be gone for a week and I'm trying to fill it up with fun things : ) My blanket is getting close to finished so I may have to make my way back to Michael's to see what other things I can get my hands on...

Baby Blankie

Here is the progress I've made! Unfortunately, I think it's getting narrower and narrower...This was my first try so I'll go easy on myself but I am a little bummed cause I put a lot of hours into it so far. Beau made a good point when he said it looked like a Mexican poncho. I think I may agree ha ha ha !

Crocheting, here I come!

Took a trip over to Michael's today where I perused the aisles in search of the perfect project. And I think I found a good one: crocheting. So, here is the beginnings of my baby blanket, my basket full of yarn and a book of 6 crochet baby designs that I might attempt to conquer one day.

Comment fishing...

Alrighty all my readers out there. I am sending out a request, borderline beg, for some more comments! Now that my dear old dad has his own blog, and is updating it regularly with fun pictures and going ons, I am raising the bar for all of you out there and encourage you to let us know that you really ARE reading! Thanks everyone : ) I absolutely adore blogging and am so happy to have some followers so keep it up!

Such a tease

Wow. I get home yesterday and he leaves today. What a tease. BUT he will only be gone this weekend and home on Sunday night. Day off on Monday and then home for a whole week! Very exciting : ) While the boys are away, the girls are doing dinner tomorrow night and perhaps a couple movie outings since it's supposed to rain all weekend. I have been brain storming about projects I can do and I'm thinking perhaps knitting? I'm reading Friday Night Knitting Club and it's inspired me ha ha I youtubed a knitting video and not gonna lie, it looks hard. But it's a good challenge. That, or head to Michael's and see what kind of classes they offer. I'm in an artistic mood lately. Anybody have any other great ideas?
