Life is flying by!

We have had a busy last week. A thunderstorm passed through early last Monday morning, it was one of the biggest I have ever seen! Lightning caused a big fire at Edison and the entire Valley was out of power for hours. It made for a very interesting day/night.
A dear friend of our family and roommate and best friend to Kory (Lizzy's boyfriend) passed away last weekend. Please say a prayer for the deGroot family and all friends as this is an extremely difficult time.
I also started a new job 3 weeks ago; a 3 day a week job at Fusion School of Music as the Office Administrator. Love it so far!

Beau's First Half Marathon

Beau ran 13.1 miles yesterday. I am SO proud of him! He despises running so when he signed up for Hell of a Half, I was in shock. This is a very tough race, two 1.5 mile climbs and always hot. I signed up shortly after so I could train with him and yesterday, I got to start and cross the finish with my hubby. What a treat to do the thing I love with the person I love most! He's thinking about running one in November...What?!? My husband may have converted into a runner and I couldn't be happier about it!

Happy birthday beau!!!

Beau turned 27 yesterday, the first time he has been home to celebrate in years!


We had a amazing dinner with the best ice cream cake. Most our family was there to celebrate him.


So nice to be home for times like these. I can't believe it's been almost a year since we have been home!


Mom and Dad took off from Jackson Hole and went Fort Collins and then on to Traverse City, Mackinaw Island and then to Holland!

Such a great trip to celebrate 30 years of marital bliss :) :) :)

Jackson Hole wedding!

Congratulations to two of our best friends for tying the knot this weekend in Jackson Hole, WY! Thomas and Kristen, we couldn't have asked for a more fun few days with you. : ) : ) : )




We arrived on Thursday and took a raft down the Snake River. The whole wedding party and guests came, about 65 total!

I crashed some of the pre-wedding photos and caught a glimpse of the stunning bride.




We took a gondola up to the top, about 9,000 ft, where the wedding and reception were.




Over looking Teton Village. My man was one handsome groomsman.




Handsome couple!!! They celebrated 30 years of marriage on the 11th; such a wonderful example of husband and wife. We love you both!
