Sick child who is going through terrible 2's in small hotel room = frustrated parents

We move into our house tomorrow. Yay. Tough day with my daughter! Beau had his physical today and killed it; he had the lowest percentage of body fat of all corner infielder, including big leaguers. Very proud! Worked his butt off this off season! My day wasn't as great ha ha Kensie is getting some sort of bug, a cold and a fever, and is just misersble. Tantrums and fits plus being sick is a very bad combination. Beau is on a drive with her right now so I can sit it peace and quiet for 30 minutes. Thank you Beau, you are a good husband!

We made it to Arizona!

After 7 hours, we made it to Arizona. Kensie was a dream; not gonna lie, I was pretty positive that she was going to be a complete nightmare. Beau put a DVD player in for her before we left and that seemed to do the trick! We are in a hotel until our house opens up on the first. A little tight but we are making due : )

Had a great first day, beau at the park and kensie and me getting to know Goodyear again.

Well fought girls; so proud of you all.

Been a busy few days here; trying to gear up to leave for Spring Training and doing all last minute get togethers! We had the Levine's over for dinner; that's Beau's trainer and very good friend and his wife Steph, my running buddy, and their daughter Jo Jo who is 1. Such great food and company; we had such a wonderful time! And then last night, the CVC girls' soccer team played Liberty High School, up north in Madera, for the Valley Championship. It was a well fought game but we fell 0-1 : ( Great season girls; Emily I am so proud of you! You played your heart out and had an amazing year.

A visit to Grandma and a doctor check-up

A couple days ago, we went to see Grandma Mills in the new home she just moved into. It was so warm and cozy and I know it'll be a great fit for her! One of the gals who worked there was playing the piano in the foyer so we wheeled her out there and sat for a while. The residents were all singing along the the hymns : ) a very nice visit we had! Yesterday, we had a check up for kensie's ear and everything looks perfect; God is good!

It has finally arrived, our last week at home. To send us off in the right fashion, we had all siblings,the Kindy kids and Thomas over for a taco bar and background fire pit. Great great night; sad to go! Continue to lift us up in prayer this season; for success, drive and faith that the Lord has a plan for us!

Valentines Day and The World Ag Expo

Great day yesterday with the hubs; pancakes in bed, a lovely day together and pistachio crusted salmon for dinner and chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert! Oh and did I mention gorgeous roses from Beau?? And today, we ventured out to the World Ag Expo for a few hours. So many people there, such a huge event! Then later this evening, Sean, Rochelle and Jack stopped by for a visit, and her took a ton of steps by himself! So proud of you Jacky!!!

Kensie's Surgery!!!

Kensie was born with a little skin tag on her ear, just something cosmetic. But she has started to play with it and rub it lately so we thought, we need to snip this thing off! This morning she had a small 20 minute procedure and she had to have a little anesthesia. Everything went great! And she's sacked out in her crib now : ) The cowboy pictures are from yesterday when we picked Beau up from the airport, she was very happy to see daddy.
