We were out exploring our many shopping options in Columbus (there are LOTS!) and stumbled upon another 9 month old baby named Oliver.

They were instant friends! Quite possibly the most contagious thing I've ever seen; everyone stopped to watch them play! We all had the giggles : )

Hello Columbus!

We have arrived! Got in two nights ago and we're trying to settle in.

Dinner time; Kensie tries her first bite of mac n' cheese. She likey!

We hit up the Columbus Zoo yesterday afternoon; it was very warm and neither mom nor I wore good shoes. Suffice to say, we didn't last too long. BUT, we are planning to come back several times so we'll see the rest the zoo has to offer later this season.

One of my great friends, Catherine Hobby (Matt McBride's girlfriend), lives in Lehigh Valley, where the Clippers were playing. She was nice enough to take some pictures of the hubs for me : ) Thanks my dear, I owe ya one!

Exciting News

Last night, Beau was called up to AAA Columbus! I took him to the airport this morning and he flew to Lehigh Valley, PA where they start an 8 day roadtrip. I am back in Akron trying to square away apartment details before packing up and heading to Columbus. Couldn't be more proud of you babe; you've worked so hard and you more than deserve this. : )

After dropping Beau off, I realized I kinda wanted to go on the road trip too. So, I ran home, packed our bags, and off we went. Record breaking heat today. 98 and so humid, I walked out the door and literally had upper lip sweat in approximately 30 seconds. Gross.

After an hour and a half rain delay, the boys had a walk off win in the ninth. Some major storms comin' through here; lots of flooding here this morning. And ridiculously humid; we came down early because we were sweating. And it was 10:30 pm. Gross.

One of the guys' sons turned 3 yesterday so his mom brought cake and hats and we had a mini party in the family room. All the players seem to really like Kensie. They keep asking me if they can hold her and telling me that she looks like Beau ha ha
