Memorial Day Bike Ride

The fam took a bike ride to the cemetary today. There is always a ton of flags and a nice ceremony and a lot of visitors. We saw Grandma Harry, Grandma Kindy, Cathy Van Grouw, Brad Bosler and several other head stones that we recognized. It's a beautiful day out and the perfect thing to do on Memorial Day! We're back at the house now, eatin' a bite and going to start a card game with G-pa soon : ) Hope you all are enjoying this day off!

A Vistor in Visalia

It's so strange to come back to a home that hasn't been lived in for 4 months, with no husband or dog to go to sleep and wake up with and with not one single thing in the fridge besides ketchup and a bottle of water. But it still is the best feeling. Every time I walk into our house, it's more amazing than the last time I was there. I can't wait until Beau and Sadie are here with me and the newest addition the the family settles in! HOWEVER, for the mean time, I am finding myself quite busy, enjoying every second that I get to spend here. Eric and Katelyn's wedding, seeing my family, Sean, Rochelle, Tay, and Aub, bbqing in the gorgeous weather, a lovely walk around the block, a card game on the patio....it's the BEST!!! The wedding was amazing and Katelyn looked STUNNING!!! What a fantastic day that I got to be a part of : ) I am missing my husband dearly though. Beau Beau it's just not the same without my other half. Here are some pics of the latest happenings in Visalia.

Good times with Mama and Papa Mills

We we so lucky to get to see Dad on Sunday and Monday. He wasn't going to be able to come and last minute he was! Beau was so happy to get to see him because with their 2 schedules, it's near impossible to see each other during the season. Dad flew out Tuesday morning and Mom is hear until Thursday. She flies to Cincinnati and I fly home for Eric and Katelyn's wedding! I am so excited to see our house and spend a little time with the family and see friends : ) See a lot of you soon! PS Congrats to Miss Renee for graduating this past weekend! Officially done with school-best feeling ever : )

Being pregnant is way too much fun...

Beau and I have been having way too much fun since discovering that there is a little mini Miss Mills inside of me. Beau discussed thoroughly what name our daughter should have in the club house with his teammates. Some ideas are as follows: Destiny, Candy, Latifah (courtesy of Nick Weglarz), Maria, Flora and Julia (from our Latin players) and several other out of control names. Needless to say, none of those names made our Top 5 List. But the two of us have been brain storming and have several that we like but none we've fallen in love with. Well, none that HE has fallen in love with. He's being quite picky, which is a good thing. We have done a ridiculous amount of online browsing and even registered at Babies R' Us (I just couldn't help myself). Beau is going to spend way to much on our child; I can see it already. He's been looking on Nordstrom at Burberry and Ralph Lauren and several other way too expensive brands for a newborn girl who will out grow an outfit in a month! Let's just say, with both sets of grand parents, aunts and uncles, great aunts and uncles and other friends and family, our little one is going to be the cutest baby on the block.

It's a........

BABY GIRL!!! Miss Mills made her debut today and she looks perfect. Everything looked fully developed and great and we are beyond thrilled to be having a healthy baby girl!
UPDATE: Beau is, as we speak, showing me baby girl clothes on the internet. I'd say he's pretty excited : ) He is going to be so wrapped around her little finger!
UPDATE #2: The first picture is her arm. The second are her two feet, you can see her little toes. The third are her legs and her pelvis bone. And the fourth is her face; it kinda looks like a skeleton because you see the eyes that look like eye sockets and her nose and mouth,

TODAY is the big day!!!

We are mere hours away from seeing our little bundle of joy! I really hope he/she is not hiding from us, since that tends to happen. We'd like to see a full frontal if the baby doesn't mind...Many of you will be getting a call and the rest of you can expect a post sometime this afternoon!!! Which will it be??? Anyone who'd like to take a guess, please post a comment; I'm extremely interested in what you all think!! : )

Baby Mills Update

I am 19 weeks and today we had a doctor's appointment here in Akron. Our doctor was fantastic, a very sharp lady and we're both happy that we'll be seeing her for the next couple of months. We got to hear our baby's heart beat for the first time!!! It really is quite incredible : ) Beau looked at me and said "I guess you really are pregnant" ha ha Oh Beau...The doctor said that everything looked perfect and scheduled us for an ultrasound on Monday!!!! Oh are we excited! Only a few more days.....On another note, there is a pitcher on our team whose wife just into town on Wednesday. They have 2 boxers, she's 18 weeks pregnant and they moved into our apartment complex so we took Sadie over for a little visit yesterday. They have 2 BIG boy boxers and, needless to say, they we all pretty pooped after an hour of play time...

Boys come home today!!!

Cat and I have been counting down these last couple days til the boys come home. The first 4 days seemed to fly by but these last couple have seemed to drag on. It could be the fact that it has been rainy and dreary here and it's supposed to stay like that until the weekend. It's very chilly and is making me lazy! But I figure since the baby is coming in 4 short months, I better take my lazy days where I can get em', naps and all. Friday we go in to hear the heart beat and early next week, we will hopefully find out if we are having a Beau Jr. or Alicia Jr.! We are beyond excited to find out and don't worry, we WILL tell you all : ) It's no fun to find out exciting news and and not share. Happy belated birthday to Miss Aubrey Mills and to Mom Mills and Rochelle and Taylor, I hope you are loving spending some time together!

PS. Dad Mills got ejected from his first game a couple days ago and it was freaking awesome. Dad you rock my world. Such a stud!

Outtings while the boys are away...

The boys are off the Pennsylvania. First to Reading for 3 games and then onto Erie for another 3. They left yesterday after a 10:30 am game and we're here for about 6 days. The family I babysit for has been using me quite a bit, thank goodness! Last night, this morning and tomorrow morning and hopefully a couple times this week. The little boy, Gabe, is about 1 and so sweet and precious. He put this cleat on and thought he was so funny ha ha I couldn't resist taking a photo! I love sitting because it gives me some company and a little extra spending money for things like....new stretchy pregnant jeans and PF Changs date with Catherine!!! My belly got bigger over night and I just can't hardly fit in my normal jeans any more. I am in desperate need of elastic!!! Good good times we are having without the boys; we will be missing them soon however. Lots of storms over here; that means movie nights and dinners in which we don't mind at all!

Things I've been wanting to eat....
1) Cantalope
2) Starburst
- I take one of each color: yellow orange pink and red and then I pair them together. A red with a yellow and a pink with a orange. Perfect combination of a little sweet with a little sour
3) Peanut Butter
-I eat it every single day
4) Raisin Bran Crunch
-Obsessed. I have a banana cut up in it a couple times a week. Yum.
5) Mom's Asian Chicken Salad
-The best ever. Hits the spot every time.

For now, that's pretty much what my diet consists of along with some sandwiches, eggs, and werther's chocolate candies.

Married Away!

I wanted to give a shout out to Roxanne and Dennis! They were hitched this Saturday at the Kindy's place in the country. Ronda sent us lots of pictures and it was gorgeous. I heard it was the perfect day for a wedding and the picture I saw of Roxanne was stunning. Congrats to them both!
