Beach 2012!

Beau had the flu the morning we left : ( but he and kensie had some cuddle time before we left and he felt much better by the time we got here.


Kensie burnt her finger and fell asleep with it in ice water.

Every time we took it away she woke up; pretty precious.


I bought myself a new laptop! In San Luis there is an Apple store and I splurged and treated myself.


The kids at the beach; I have lots and lots more pictures on my new camera I got for Christmas but I forgot my cord to download them to my computer. When we get home you'll see some great ones!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Christmas Eve morning, we headed out to the dairy to check out Beau's bulls.




Beau goes out every morning to feed them and help a little on the dairy. A gorgeous morning to be outside!




Our dear dear friends, Kristen and Thomas got engaged and we couldn't be happier for them! Congrats you two love birds!




We headed to Mom and Dad's early so we could spend the entire day with the family. A friendly game of cards was a great way to spend a couple hours. Poor little munchkin had the stomach flu all day so she stayed in her comfies.




The family went to 4 o'clock service but we stayed home with Kensie. When they got home, we cooked away and got ready for dinner.

Mom gave Dad and Kensie a new red wagon! Such a great gift!

After some work, the guys put together the wagon and Kensie hopped right in.




Christmas morning at the Mills! Beau and I agreed we weren't doing gifts for each other but he surprised me with the most amazing boots! Clearly, from the look on my face, I was slightly excited : )

Out for a Christmas walk. Kensie has the coat on the I wore at three years old; Dad refused to get rid of it and I'm glad he didn't!




We ended the night with a great game of cards!

It's here, it's here!!!

It's Christmas Eve tomorrow! Which is when our side, the Vannette's, celebrate Christmas. We have been having such a fun time with Liz and Emily home and tomorrow is pack full of breakfast, cooking, games, church and presents. Couldn't be more excited! Ab has worked the last two days and has tomorrow and Christmas Day off, yay!
And Christmas we will at the Mills at the crack of dawn for coffee, breakfast and presents before our big Kindy dinner at three. Oh let the festivities begin!




Kensie loves touching my belly. 30 weeks pregnant this week; 10 to go!




Emily has a stethoscope that Kensie uses to try and listen to the baby's heart; melt my heart!

The girls are home!!!

Lizzy and Missy landed on Saturday and are home for a short 2 weeks. So glad they are here and want to squeeze all kinds of sister time in!

Vegas Baby!

This past week, the family headed to Vegas for Cowboy Christmas, the National Finals Rodeo, and to watch some bulls be bucked. We stayed at the Mandalay Bay and had such a great time.

We walked around the convention center where there were tons and tons of booths set up and lots of things to buy and look at. Kensie was fascinated with this cowgirl!

Amazing seats at the ACAs (American Country Awards). They were held at the Mandalay and we bought tickets about an hour before the show. Fabulous seats and incredible show with the top country stars. Mom and Dad even loved it!

Tis the Season

...For Santa Clause! Eileen, Sean's mom, has a company Christmas party every year where Santa comes and sings with the kids and gives each one a gift. Eileen has invited us the last two years and buys Kensie a gift that Santa gives her. Eileen, you're the best!
