Pray for Chile

I'm not sure if you've all heard yet, but I woke up this morning, put on a pot of coffee and clicked on the TV. I surfed until I landed on CNN and was shocked to hear that another country, Chile, had experienced an earthquake. This earthquake was tracked at an 8.8 magnitude. This is MASSIVE. Thank goodness the buildings are much sturdier compared to those in Haiti, however the damage is bad. There are tsunami warnings all over the Pacific region. Pray!

Sun, it's good to see you old friend...

I am fairly certain that Arizona during the months of Spring Training is the best place to be. It is quite idyllic. Sunny skies, no clouds, a light breeze, a good book and a pool is just about all I need to keep me happy (and unfortunately for Beau, he's been encouraging me to get some more because I am just a tad moody lately....sorry honey buns, it's the hormones talking)...Today, my good friend Dara laPorta is headed over and we plan on gettin' a little color and catching up; we haven't seen each other since last Spring Training! And yes, MOM, you'd be so proud because I am using SPF 70! Protecting the skin because we want to keep it nice and healthy but still enjoy the benefits of Mr. Sun. We have to let it all seep in 'cause the weather man is predicting rain tomorrow and Sunday...PS GOOD LUCK TO MY LADY CAVS TONIGHT-GO GET 'EM!!!

Preggers Update

I am officially 7 weeks pregnant and feel awesome (knock on wood)...I keep thinking the nausea and sickness and tiredness are gonna kick in at some point but I honestly feel like a million bucks!! Yay : ) I hope i have 7 more months of what I'm calling pregnancy bliss!

We made it!!!

Goodyear AZ has become our temporary home once again...It's beautiful here: 75 * and sunny, not a whole lot to complain about! We settled in yesterday, unpacked, got groceries and tried to make our apartment as "homey" as possible. Beau has been heading to the park for a couple hours in the morning and I go to the gym or walk Sadie in this unbelievable weather. Glad we made it safe and sound ; )

Two Pink Lines!!!

Well it seems that good news really DOES travel fast! If you are one of the few who have not heard through the grapevine, then we are thrilled to tell you that we're going to have a BABY!!! Everyone is so excited and we are ecstatic! I am about 6 weeks along and went in today for our first appointment. We were a little too early for a heartbeat but we wanted to get in before we leave for Arizona on Monday. We saw a little black dot and learned that my due date is October 6th, my baby sister Emily's birthday!!! Beau and I have been reading baby books in bed and thinking of names : ) He might be the cutest thing ever; he's so happy. So please send up a couple prayers for us as we leave for the season: a successful pregnancy and a very successful year for Beau Beau!
