Christmas Parade

The annual Visalia Christmas Parade occurs every year, the Monday following Thanksgiving.

Taylor's salon is downtown and at the end of the parade route so they always set up and have a great spot to watch the festivities!

The kids had the greatest time seeing the floats, dancing with the bands and dancers and taking in all the noise!

Happy Thanksgiving!

A couple days late! We had a wonderful day with both sides of the family. We are so fortunate that our families live in the same town. One of the biggest things I'm thankful for.

Our little family woke up early and headed to downtown Visalia the run the Turkey Trot/Race Against Hunger.

Sean ran with us and Rochelle and Jack came to cheer us on at the finish line!

It was a wet and foggy morning but over 4,000 people showed up.

A good way to start off Turkey Day!

After, we showered, got ready and made a few appetizers for Thanksgiving at Uncle Steve and Aunt Laurie's. It was such a gorgeous day and we had the best time! Abbey worked so we went to Mom and Dad's around 6 to celebrate with them. We sat by the fire for hours and laughed til my stomach hurt. It was a great night : )

And yesterday, we hit up Black Friday baby!! It was my first time and I must say, it was extremely painless. There was no one out at 7 am! We bought a couple things but it was a fun thing to do.
Now it's on the our most favorite time of the year: CHRISTMAS!

Aubrey's first high school soccer game!

Aubrey had an incredible game last night as CVC's goalie against Bullard High School. She saved countless shots on goal and looked great out there! Way to go Aub!

My husband, the chef

One of the many things that I love about my husband is that he is an incredible cook. He was always in the kitchen with his grandma, his mom and his sisters and they taught him well!
Beau went hunting on Wednesday morning and that night he made bacon wrapped duck stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeƱo. Yum.

And last night, he made what I would call a gourmet meal. It was unbelievably scrumptious. French onion soup, horseradish crusted prime rib and salad.

I think the picture says it all! Thank you for an amazing meal babe!
And of course, I had to add some pictures of my munchkin because she is just so cute.

A fun afternoon at a new park

We park hopped after Kensie's nap yesterday. We usually go to the park right by our house but I think it's a good idea to switch it up. So, we drove down the road to a new park and I'm glad we did!

Rochelle and Jack met us there and there were lots of other kids there to play with.

Had a good ol' couple of hours!

The past week.

Brad, Ronda, Steve and Laurie all headed up to Napa on Thursday for all kinds of goodness! Hot balloon rides, golf, fabulous dinners and wine tasting. Um, can we say best weekend ever?

Beau signed us up at our local gym and I am loving it. The day care is wonderful and they made this super cute Indian headband yesterday.

She makes a darn cute Indian if I do say so myself.

After our workout, we headed to Traver and met Katelyn and baby Easton for lunch at Bravo Farms.

She has an intense fascination with babies and it makes me so excited to have #2. 24 weeks, 4 months to go!

I bought all kinds of yummy goodies.

Potty Training. A very big job! But she has been really great and is catching on quickly!

Beau went hunting early this morning so Kensie and I made a big pot of chili for him for when he got home. High of 55, cold for here!

Eric Church Concert

Last night we had such a great time! 8 of us, piled into Kristen's uncle's old limo and we headed to Bakersfield!

Rochelle made sure to buckle up!

Rochelle is amazing and got us 'meet and greets' with Eric Church. Such a great sister, she got them because Beau LOVES Eric Church. Thank you Rochelle for thinking of my husband! We couldn't take pictures with our phones but there are some online I'll post later.

Sporting both stickers proudly!

He played 'These Boots' and everyone took off their boots, pretty cool : )

Grammy and Papa watched our munchkin over night; thanks to both of you!

And this is my love helping me wash windows 2 days ago : )
