A day on the beach

We spent the morning on the beach, enjoying the bath warm water and soft sand!!! Beau rented a board and we took turns trying to paddle out : ) It was really humid, as always, so dad picked a spot in the shade to read the paper. At the airport picking Missy ad Lizzy up now! Dad and Beau are out fishing and we'll meet up with them later and hopefully have a fish fry. Yummy!

Pudah and Kadalak have arrived!

They flew in yesterday afternoon and we caught a bite to eat and headed to the game! Beau played awesome last night in front of a sold out crowd. Beau has a 2 o'clock game this afternoon so we went to brunch and dropped him off. We just got back from a walk; 2 miles felt like 5 in this humidity. We are all dripping sweat and Sadie barely survived! Welcome to Florida Mom and Dad ha ha

Happy 4th of July!

Beau had a 4 o'clock game yesterday so we got to go to dinner and watch fireworks afterward. Kensie thought they were pretty amazing, she couldn't stop 'oooooh'-ing : ) Before the game, some of the girls got together for sangria and sushi. There's a yogurt shop connected to the park and the owners are so sweet. That's where the girls were hanging out. Cookie, one of the yogurt shop owners, was teaching Kensie to eat with chop sticks ha ha
And Brenda is a wife of one of the pitchers and is so good with Kensie. She was feeding her yogurt all night. Now, we're headed out to the pool for the last day with mom! She's been beyond helpful and I am so grateful for everything mom! Thank you thank you!

What a day and a half...

Saying that we had quite the day would be an understatement. When I woke up, I conquered the dreaded suitcases. I hung and put away and made a lot of piles of send home clothes and shoes. When mom arrived, she brought three boxes which we packed and brought over to UPS to send home. Felt so good to get rid of stuff! Afterward, we drove over to CORT furniture rental and they told us that it would be cheaper to buy and chair, couch and tv than to rent it for two months. So, we loaded it in the truck, drove home and carried it all up three flights of stairs. Next was cable and Internet. We drove to COX communications to pick up the equipment and then back home to set it up. They forgot to include two important cords. Mom, oh sweet mom, drove to Office Max to get them. But i gave her the wrong instructions so she came back with ones that didn't work. We made one more trip to exchange them and they didn't have what we needed. We gave up and went to dinner. Such a long day, mom ordered a glass of Chardonnay and I ordered an O'douls, which will be my drink of choice for the next 9 months!!! Baby # 2 is due March 1st!!! We are so excited to welcome a brother or sister for miss Kensie Jae : ) pool pictures are from two days ago! And we are here again taking a breather from yesterday's activities!

Wow, a little slice of heaven.

We spent part of yesterday and most of today on the beach!!! The sand is white and soft as powder and the water is 80 degrees. Doesn't get much better than this! We are moved into our apartment. It was in desperate need of a deep cleaning; it was so filthy. But after a couples hours and some tlc it's sparkling clean : ) I can't quite get myself to unpack; the thought that I may have to repack in the near future is extremely daunting! The boys leave tonight for 3 days so it'll be a party on the beach until Beau returns!
