Post Isaac Effects

We ventured over to Pensacola Beach this afternoon to check out the raging ocean and see if any damage had been done. There is a bridge to the beach and it had been closed and everyone on the island had evacuated due to the hurricane. Since they opened it back up, there were lots of locals checking it out and taking walks on the pier and the beach. You most definitely don't want to be body surfing in this!

Looks like an adventure! Well I guess you survived your first hurricane, can't say I was ever even near one, only earthquakes here in Ca! Had another busy, productive day in Mi. Two trips to GR, one with a load of Lizzies furniture, got her all set up in her new house! Second trip to watch her first race of the season, she finished 7th overall so she's creeping her way up to hopefully be in the top 5! Then dad took me down memory lane with a stop at Fricanos in Grand Haven for famous Michigan Pizza! It has been a great day and now we can relax for a few days! See you soon in Visalia!
